A Perfect Wedding Experience with Peter!
  We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Peter as our wedding officiant. From the moment he responded to our initial inquiry, he was prompt and enthusiastic, setting the tone for a smooth and pleasant process. Peter's warm demeanor and genuine interest in our story made our initial Zoom meeting delightful. After that, the decision to choose him as our officiant was easy.
  Peter's familiarity with our wedding venue, the Wythe, added an extra layer of confidence for us. His service included a custom ceremony, officiation, and license signing – a comprehensive package that proved invaluable.
  Two months before the big day, Peter presented us with a beautifully crafted first draft of our ceremony, complete with alternate reading options that resonated with us. He seamlessly incorporated our personal touches, making the ceremony truly unique. Peter's assistance in choosing a unity ceremony was pivotal; his enthusiasm and flexibility shone through, especially when we opted for a blind contour drawing exercise. Not only did he explain the ritual eloquently during the ceremony, but he also volunteered to manage our drawing supplies, demonstrating his adaptability and professionalism.

Perfection! Peter was amazing throughout our whole wedding journey from 1st email and zoom call until the big day. He advised us throughout, from the perfect spot in Central Park for our ceremony, to giving us lots of options for our vows. Peter is an amazing officiant! We’re so happy we found him. He was super helpful with planning the ceremony and writing the script months before the wedding, very open to our thoughts and ideas, and he brought us some great ideas/readings himself that we wound up using. Right before the ceremony, he spoke to us to help us relax and helped us rehearse. So many guests complimented Peter and the ceremony later on in the night. He’s a great speaker and a great person. + He helped us navigate anything we needed to do before the wedding to make it legal in New Jersey.

PERFECT NYC wedding officiant!
We can’t speak highly enough of the service and communication that Peter provided us for our NYC elopement from Australia. He took the time to do a Zoom call with us to get to know us and us to get to know him. We immediately connected and knew Peter was the one to announce us as husband and wife. However, once we spoke to Peter on our first touch base, it was clear from the outset that he was the only man for the job! He understood and loved our story just as much as we did, and then provided us with the most beautiful ceremony we could imagine. Peter was very professional, an hour early, which is better than an hour late!, and and helped make our day extra special by incorporating both our Irish and American heritages. 5 stars isn't enough!!! From our first communication with Peter until we said our "until next times", this was a first-class experience. We were eloping and didn't really have a lot of time for planning - enter Peter. He did all of the work for us. We had the location and the rings, but nothing else. We met with Peter via Zoom twice. Our first meeting, he got to know us. He asked us questions (which we later learned would be included in our ceremony) and we talked about several options for vows and selected readings. Our next meeting was just a few days before the ceremony where we discussed final preparations. The ceremony was magical. Peter officiated our ceremony from the comfort of a carriage as we rode through Central Park. Little did we know, but he used special, personal details about us in his surprise reading. He then read the selection we chose and we read our vows to each other. It was perfect!!! Absolutely perfect!! Thank you, Peter, for everything.

Peter was an exceptional officiant for our NYC wedding in Central Park. Like everyone else, we scoured the internet for reputable officiants after hearing stories about officiants being late or not showing up at all (GASP!). We saw Peter's youtube videos showing the different spots to get married in Central Park which was exceptionally helpful and after seeing these videos and how generally likeable he was, we reached out to him for an interview.
   During the zoom-meeting interview, Peter gave an overview of getting married in NYC and reminding of us the marriage license requirements which was helpful. Just talking to him and meeting him live online, we felt he was serious about his work - that this wasn't some side hustle to make a few bucks.
   We wanted an officiant who looked "official" like professional but not stuffy. I've seen some women officiants dress in bold color dresses or awful print dresses - which really disrupts the photos(!) - and I didn't want that in our wedding pictures. On Peters website we could see his attire was respectful and professional, just a really well-put-together person and he delivered that on our elopement.
   After the interview, He provided a detailed template on how the ceremony would go, what he would say and provided options that could be included (e.g. lighting a candle, breaking the glass, etc). He also welcomed any language changes and/or additions. We changed some words and opted out of a few options to make the ceremony our own and Peter was very accepting of our changes.
  I definitely recommend hiring Peter for your elopement or wedding- big or small.

We are so grateful for finding Peter to officiate our wedding! We wanted to exchange our vows in a completely unique way and after looking around online for someone, we found Peter’s website and knew right away that we wanted him to do it! He then did a Zoom call with us ahead of time to get acquainted with us and get some more information about what we wanted for the ceremony. We felt even more comfortable after the Zoom call, as if we had known him for years!
