5 stars isn't enough!!! From our first communication with Peter until we said our "until next times", this was a first-class experience. We were eloping and didn't really have a lot of time for planning - enter Peter. He did all of the work for us. We had the location and the rings, but nothing else. We met with Peter via Zoom twice. Our first meeting, he got to know us. He asked us questions (which we later learned would be included in our ceremony) and we talked about several options for vows and selected readings. Our next meeting was just a few days before the ceremony where we discussed final preparations. The ceremony was magical. Peter officiated our ceremony from the comfort of a carriage as we rode through Central Park. Little did we know, but he used special, personal details about us in his surprise reading. He then read the selection we chose and we read our vows to each other. It was perfect!!! Absolutely perfect!! Thank you, Peter, for everything.

Peter was an exceptional officiant for our NYC wedding in Central Park. Like everyone else, we scoured the internet for reputable officiants after hearing stories about officiants being late or not showing up at all (GASP!). We saw Peter's youtube videos showing the different spots to get married in Central Park which was exceptionally helpful and after seeing these videos and how generally likeable he was, we reached out to him for an interview.
During the zoom-meeting interview, Peter gave an overview of getting married in NYC and reminding of us the marriage license requirements which was helpful. Just talking to him and meeting him live online, we felt he was serious about his work - that this wasn't some side hustle to make a few bucks.
We wanted an officiant who looked "official" like professional but not stuffy. I've seen some women officiants dress in bold color dresses or awful print dresses - which really disrupts the photos(!) - and I didn't want that in our wedding pictures. On Peters website we could see his attire was respectful and professional, just a really well-put-together person and he delivered that on our elopement.
After the interview, He provided a detailed template on how the ceremony would go, what he would say and provided options that could be included (e.g. lighting a candle, breaking the glass, etc). He also welcomed any language changes and/or additions. We changed some words and opted out of a few options to make the ceremony our own and Peter was very accepting of our changes.
I definitely recommend hiring Peter for your elopement or wedding- big or small.

Peter was better than anything I could have hoped for in an Officiant. He was very helpful and engaging from the beginning even 9 months before the wedding. Everything we needed to do was laid out for us in a clear concise plan and he was always available to speak with. Peter is an absolutely incredible officiant - he is professional and passionate in all that he does. He took the time to know my husband and I before the wedding, worked with us on a few drafts to get the ceremony exactly right, and totally delivered on the day. His warmth and kindness immediately grounded me as I reached the end of the aisle - I didn't realize how much that would mean to me! His words were beautifully delivered, and so many of our guests mentioned how awesome he was. I highly recommend booking him - you'll be very glad you did!

We were victims of the covid wedding, so we got married online in 2020 and then asked Peter to be our officiant when we celebrated with friends and family in 2022. He made both experiences even better with his professionalism, care and thoroughness. We felt like Peter truly wanted us to have the best experience and one that reflected us as a couple. My family and friends commented on how Peter totally made the zoom wedding way more meaningful and sentimental than they could have imagined it would have been. We are so grateful we found Peter! My wife & I recently (May 2022) hired Peter to be the officiant at our wedding ceremony in Central Park NYC. We don’t normally write reviews (out of laziness more than anything else!) but we both felt compelled to write a positive review for Peter. He was incredible from the first moment we met. We live in the UK so had to organise much of the wedding from across the Atlantic. He kept us updated, checked in with us regularly (via Zoom) and generally put our minds at ease. On the big day he was at the venue professionally early waiting to greet us and again, put us at ease. We will be forever grateful for the way he hosted the ceremony with professionalism, passion, care, and a big smile. All the guests complimented him to us and said how great he was. Peter did a fantastic job officiating our wedding. He was professional and responsive leading up to the wedding, is flexible, punctual, organized, wore a tuxedo, and most importantly officiated our wedding with his booming powerful voice. Think twice before having a friend officiate your wedding - it will be impossible to beat Peter's professionalism and expertise. If you want to incorporate friends, have them do a reading during the ceremony or a toast during reception. Hire Peter to officiate the wedding, he will do it right! We renewed our vows for our 25th Wedding Anniversary in Central Park, as Peter had organise everything for us, flowers, photographer, beautiful speech, as we wish. Peter Boruchowitz was absolutely amazing as our wedding officiant. We originally hired Peter back in 2019, but when our wedding was postponed Peter was very helpful and understanding and gave us no trouble moving our date (twice). We met with Peter in person only once, and that was all it took to realize we wanted him to be the one to marry us. He was so friendly, accommodating and well spoken. We finally got married in May 2022 and couldn’t be more thrilled with how it went. Peter worked with us to ensure the ceremony was personal and reflected our values. Our guests commented about how excellent Peter was, and like we had known him our whole life. If you are looking for an officiant do not hesitate to hire Peter, you won’t be disappointed.

We are so grateful for finding Peter to officiate our wedding! We wanted to exchange our vows in a completely unique way and after looking around online for someone, we found Peter’s website and knew right away that we wanted him to do it! He responded very quickly and was available for the date and time we wanted. He then did a Zoom call with us ahead of time to get acquainted with us and get some more information about what we wanted for the ceremony. We felt even more comfortable after the Zoom call, as if we had known him for years! He was very communicative throughout the entire process and then when we met up with him on our wedding day, he helped us find the perfect spot (we got married in a public location in Manhattan that meant a lot to us)! We had such a great time with him that we made him come with us to Campbell Apartment in Grand Central for a celebratory toast before we went on with the rest of our big day! We cannot recommend Peter enough as an officiant and feel so lucky to have found him!

Peter was a brilliant officiant! Being overseas and having to meet Peter on a Zoom, we knew he had to be our officiant. He is charismatic, funny and professional. Not knowing exactly what we wanted, Peter recommended ideas and gave us a lot of variety and choice to what our ceremony could be, which was excellent. On our wedding day, Peter was prompt and fully prepared. Our location in Central Park was booked and cordoned off for our ceremony. Peter delivered a beautifully and personal ceremony which made our wedding extra special.
